Is the Bible free from historical, scientific, doctrinal, moral, and other kinds of probable errors? This question has occupied the conservative Protestant Churches since 1800s. The majority of conservatives take a strong stand for Inerrancy of the Bible. This book explains the subject in a non-technical manner.
It first gives a historical survey of how the idea of "errant" was made popular by government-funded mercenary theologians from Germany. It then mentions how the idea spread worldwide and then how the conservative Christians responded to it.
At the end it mentions some of the most important ideas related to the inerrancy of the Bible. This is a non-technical and non-academic book and is free of academic footnotes and references.

My Name is Justin Derby, and I am an apologist and author. There have been many apologetics books written over the years by smart men who have set out to give rock-solid evidence that the Biblical worldview is true, such as Jim Warner Wallace in "Cold-Case Christianity", Norman Geisler and Frank Turek in "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist", and Dr. Kent Hovind in "What On Earth Is About To Happen...For Heaven's Sake?".
In supplementation with apologetics, there have also been many books over the decades dedicated to the topic of the inerrancy of the Bible; I'm talking about classics like "The Down-Grade Controversy" by Charles Spurgeon, "The Battle for The Bible" by Harold Linsdall, and "The Great Evangelical Disaster" by Francis Schaeffer. There have even been modern classics like "Fatal Drift: Is The Church Losing Its Anchor?" by Dr. Jim Jenkins.
For those of you looking to read a book about the issue of the inerrancy of the Bible, but you feel that you're not ready to read a high-caliber book like the ones listed above, Dr. Johnson C. Philip's "Inerrancy of The Bible" is perfect for getting you introduced to the topic.
Dr. Philip shows that non-christian thinkers over history cannot stand the idea of the Bible being inerrant and infallible, and how after the Reformation, the non-Christian thinkers in Europe and eventually America took over the positions of authority in the academic culture. Dr. Philip goes on to show that the people who studied under these non-Christian thinkers became leaders in the church, and took their evolution-loving, inerrancy-bashing philosophies with them. Dr. Philip then ends the book by giving nine arguments promoting the inerrancy of the Bible.
The Humanists/Evolutionists who control our academic culture constantly try to paint the Biblical worldview as a worldview for anti-intellectuals who believe in things that have no evidence supporting it. In a simple yet intelligent manner, Dr. Johnson C. Philip shows in "Inerrancy of The Bible" that the Biblical worldview is for intellectuals and truth seekers.

The Inerrancy Of The Bible edition by Dr Johnson C Philip Dr Saneesh Cherian Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
The author actually researched the subject then put it into words most people can understand even without a lot of research of their part
Good overview of this topic!
Great book.
I especially like the history of the different groups that plotted to destroy Gods works.. I really love this author and his books.
Excellent, well written apologetic on the the Scripture's perfect lack of error. I would highly recommend this book to any Christian who doubts inerrancy.
This short, non-technical book addresses a most vital subject it does so by upholding the doctrine that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God. This is done by attacking theological radicalism and NEO-orthodoxy, which has undermined the faith of many. It mentioned a wise, comprehensive statement of faith from the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy - we would have been better served by presenting that statement in the book. Besides Karl Barth, it should have named other high-profile NEO-Orthodox authors.
Well-researched book which explains the divide between conservative Christians and radical New-age religious practitioners. It is interesting how leaven has been introduced into the modern evangelical congregations through words that sound authentic but mean something else entirely. Christianity is no longer Christ-centered, but instead self-centered, giving many churches and believers a false Jesus in place of our real Lord and Savior. The Bible is a living work that speaks personally to believers who have faith in its truth and accuracy. 4.5 stars
